Derek Giberson
Derek Giberson is a dedicated community leader and public servant. He is President of Mosaic, Board Chair at Pathwise Credit Union and past Chair of the Backdoor Mission. He has served as an Oshawa Councillor since 2018 and is currently the City’s Chair of the Corporate and Finance Services Committee. Derek is the President of Mosaic.
David Crome
David Crome is a seasoned urban planner with a successful career in municipal development. He retired from his position as the Director of Planning for the Municipality of Clarington in 2019. He previously worked for the Region of Durham Planning Department and a Mennonite NGO in Africa. David is the Vice-President and chairs Mosaic’s New Build Committee.
Dr. Shilpa Dogra
Dr. Shilpa Dogra is a Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences (Kinesiology) at Ontario Tech University. Her research expertise is in the area of healthy, active aging, and age-friendly living environments, a tremendous asset for Mosaic and our New Build Committee.
Bill Lloyd
Bill brings 45 years of experience in the development and building industry in Ontario, Alberta and the United States. He has held executive positions with a number of development and construction companies. His experience greatly benefits Mosaic where he chairs the Facilities Committee and is a member of the New Build Committee.
Mary Fowler
Mary Fowler is the President of the ETFO Durham Teachers’ Local representing over 3,400 permanent elementary teachers in the Durham District School Board. Since 2017, Mary has sat on the ETFO Provincial Executive.
She is the President of the Durham Region Labour Council and previously sat on the Boards of the Oshawa Public Libraries and the YWCA of Durham Region.
Mary is the Corporate Secretary for Mosaic.
Rob Ford
Rob Ford is an experienced financial professional with a career spanning over four decades. Rob worked for Town of Ajax for 34 years in progressively senior roles dealing with issues of a fast growing municipality. He started as Manager of Finance in 1988, became Director of Finance/Treasurer in 2003, and ultimately served as Chief Administrative Officer from 2015 to 2018. Rob is the Mosaic’s Treasurer and chairs our Finance Committee.
Alia Karim
Alia Karim is a Senior Research Officer for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) where, among other things, she has researched housing issues affecting Canadians. She has advocated for greater municipal action on the housing crisis. With her acute awareness of the housing challenges in our community, Alia is putting her knowledge into practice at Mosaic. Alia has a doctorate in Environmental Studies from York University.

Roxanne Dupont
Executive Director
Roxanne Clarke leverages her 24 years of experience in property management within the non-profit and co-op housing sector to successfully oversee the operation of our first building, Parkview Place. Since 2011, she has served first as Executive Director. She previously worked at several non-profit housing corporations in Toronto.
